Alberto Morales is a strategic advisor to foundations, nonprofits, government agencies, and corporate social impact leaders seeking to align strategy, talent, and capital with measurable community impact. With expertise across philanthropic strategy and grantmaking, fundraising, strategic planning, and organizational capacity building, Alberto guides institutions in translating vision into sustainable results.

He has stewarded multimillion-dollar grant portfolios, designed equity-centered funding strategies, and led executive-level planning initiatives across education and community development systems. At the Robert R. McCormick Foundation, he supported the education portfolio and authored a racial equity disparities analysis that informed targeted investment on Chicago’s South Side. He also led professional sports partnerships with the Chicago Bulls, White Sox, Chicago Cubs, and Blackhawks, guiding the development and evaluation of grantmaking strategies.

Alberto’s experiences as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, first-generation college graduate, and son of Mexican immigrants are the reasons his north star points toward equity.
